Service Description
Get your kitchen passport ready for a global getaway! We will travel the globe in search of traditional, yummy, international cuisines and explore the cultures which go with them. Next stop: Japan. A big bowl of ramen and a side of gyoza (dumplings) is so Japanese. In this class students reimagine and capture that classic and satisfying packaged ramen with a makeover of better ingredients. Students learn how to make a homemade creamy broth, and will have a choice of healthy ingredients to make their own personalized ramen bowls. Students learn to make easy gyoza dumplings and top off the meal with a classic Japanese melon soda. This is a hands-on class and students prepare all recipes which make 2-4 generous servings. Students have the option to eat the last 20 minutes of class. Culinary skills include basic knife skills, sauté skills, working with dumplings, how to use a sauce pan and the wok pan. On the Menu: Gyoza (handmade dumplings) Ramen Noodle Bowls w/Homemade Creamy Broth Selection of chicken, eggs, fresh veggies and spices Classic Japanese Melon Soda NOTE: Summer Fun classes have a three-participant minimum. Please have participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and tie long hair back. Cellphones aren't allowed anywhere in kitchen or at the table. There will be a designated spot for belongings/cellphones. While parents/guardians are always welcome to watch, in our experience, participants are more apt to try new things when on their own. Feel free to drop-off.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the fact that our cooking classes require preparation, supplies, and perishable food items that must be purchased ahead of time we do not issue returns or refunds. No exceptions. A class exchange may be made for another class up to three days before the class date. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given three days or less before the class date. No-shows forfeit class with no refunds, returns, or exchanges. CAMP COOK, LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE ALL SERVICES OFFERED. In the event a service/class is cancelled, all participants will be notified, and full refunds given.
