Global Getaway: From Italy with Love
SUMMER FUN TUESDAYS Middle/Highschool Teens 12-17
Service Description
Get your kitchen passport ready for a global getaway! We will travel the globe in search of traditional, yummy, international cuisines and explore the cultures which go with them. Our first stop is Italy. Students will explore classic sweet and savory Italian flavors. This is a hands-on class especially for teens and students make all recipes which make 2-4 generous servings. Students have the option to eat the last twenty minutes of class. Culinary skill focus: knife skills, breading skills, searing and roasting meat, combining sweet and savory spices, using the oven, sauté skills, and working with desserts. On the menu: Italian Stuffed Chicken with Peach Glaze Mini Tiramisu Bites Italian Lemonada (Italian Lemonade) NOTE: Summer Fun classes have a three-participant minimum. Please have participants wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and tie long hair back. Cellphones aren't allowed anywhere in kitchen or at the table. There will be a designated spot for belongings/cellphones. While parents/guardians are always welcome to watch, in our experience, participants are more apt to try new things when on their own. Feel free to drop-off.

What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the fact that our cooking classes require preparation, supplies, and perishable food items that must be purchased ahead of time we do not issue returns or refunds. No exceptions. A class exchange may be made for another class up to three days before the class date. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given three days or less before the class date. No-shows forfeit class with no refunds, returns, or exchanges. CAMP COOK, LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE ALL SERVICES OFFERED. In the event a service/class is cancelled, all participants will be notified, and full refunds given.
