Service Description

This month we will learn about all those large and small appliances that pack a powerful punch of usefulness. We will cover their basic uses, how-to, and safety. Students will learn nifty tips which will give them confidence to thrive in any kitchen. We will experiment with basic components that can be built upon as students grow and learn. Each week we will create a variety of small plate recipes on the various appliances which are perfect for sharing. Week 1 September 3 The Basics: Oven & Stove Every kitchen has these large appliances. Participants will learn best practices, basic functions, safety, and then utilize both the oven and the stove during the preparation of this week's recipes. MENU: Mini Italian Pastry Wreaths, Sassy Apple Salsa Baskets Week 2 September 10 - Awesome Air Fryer Get ready for crunchy fun! Our focus is all about the awesome air fryer! This small appliance is very versatile and is a valuable piece of equipment for your kitchen. Our kitchen is equipped with three different types of air fryers exposing participants to differences. The brand we use are Ninja. MENU: Crunchy Chicken Strips, Sassy Seasoned Curly Fries, Cinnamon Grilled Apples Week 3 September 17 - Fantastic Food Processor This week all eyes are on the fantastic food processor! This small appliance is very versatile and a big-time saving piece of equipment. Our recipes this week use the food processor in some manner. MENU: Mini Turkey Sliders, Toasty Zucchini Po-Tater Tots Week 4 September 24 - Mixers & Blenders Mixing and blending oh my! Participants will learn the mixer can actually mean different things when cooking up a recipe. We will explore mixing versus blending -the why's and how's. MENU: Rosemary Tomato Basil Soup, Classic Caesar Salad w/Homemade Dressing & Croutons, Rosemary Honey Clover Cookies NOTE: This class meets for 4-weeks on Tuesday mornings from 11am-1pm. Homeschool classes have a three-participant minimum. While parents/guardians are always welcome to watch, in our experience, participants are more apt to try new things when on their own. Feel free to drop-off.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to the fact that our cooking classes require preparation, supplies, and perishable food items that must be purchased ahead of time we do not issue returns or refunds. No exceptions. A class exchange may be made for another class up to three days before the class date. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given three days or less before the class date. No-shows forfeit class with no refunds, returns, or exchanges. CAMP COOK, LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE ALL SERVICES OFFERED. In the event a service/class is cancelled, all participants will be notified, and full refunds given.
